NEVADO DEL TOLIMA EXPEDITION
Camping Montañero and Suna-Tiba Guardians of the Road invite you to be part of an experience that will be recorded for a lifetime in the minds and hearts of the participants, we will know, explore and feel the majestic Nevado del Tolima volcano (Dulima), a special site interest in being a unique place, being this one of the highest active volcanoes in Colombia with more than 5200 meters high, with its almost perfect conical shape and its point towards the sky that culminates with a small glacier at its summit. Together with the snowy volcanoes of Ruiz and Santa Isabel, it is part of the protected area of Los Nevados National Natural Park.
ATABAPO RIVER EXPEDITION (GUAINÍA)
We will explore the mythical territories of the upper basin of the Orinoco River, narrated in history by Alexander von Humboldt and by the Colombian writer José Eustasio Rivera, author of the work, La Vorágine. We will travel through the tributaries of the Estrella Fluvial del Sur, a continental wetland recognized by the International Ramsar Convention.
During our journey we will be hosted by the Puinave and Curripaco ethnic communities, who will share with us the pipes, forests, hills and savannas of their territories. We will enjoy its native gastronomy, based on the native crops of the Amazon region.
